well, just to make it clear, that dark red character is Star dust, the main character, that girl with the purple and grey hair is emma, his soul-mate. those three guys, the one with the crazy eye, the metal one, and the one with one eye, are the villains. when star dust transforms, he destroys the guy with one eye. at the end of the opening, it says: who am i? where am i? and where did i get these scars? the scars being scars that everyone from his planet had. and that's pretty much what the opening is implying.
